CONCORD Rangers went back to the bottom of the National League South standings after suffering a 2-1 defeat against Chelmsford City.
Mohamed Bettamer put the Beach Boys in front after just five minutes at the Aspect Arena.
But fifth placed City bounced back to take all three points.
In Isthmian North, Hullbridge Sports’ poor run of results continued with a 3-0 defeat at home to Tilbury.
Hullbridge are now second from bottom in the table and have gone seven games without a win.
