SOUTHEND United head coach Kevin Maher will continue to focus on just football amid Ron Martin’s plans to move on.
Chairman Martin has announced he is ‘commencing a formal process to explore the sale of the club’ after 25 years in charge.
But, speaking after Saturday’s defeat to Aldershot Town, Maher stressed he was only thinking of getting Blues back to winning ways.
“My only focus is the football,” said Maher.
“It hasn’t been good enough today and the last few games so that has to be my focus.”
Blues have fallen to 10th in the National League table after losing five games in succession.
