SOUTHEND United’s staff and players have received their July pay packets on time, Echosport can confirm.
The Shrimpers were warned by the National League last week that they would face a 10 point deduction if they fell behind in their payments to football creditors.
But all staff picked up their salaries on Monday, the club’s designated pay day.
Staff previously went three months without being paid before receiving all of their outstanding salaries last week.
