RYAN Peniston is through to the second round of qualifying at the Australian Open.
The Great Wakering ace won a third-set tie-break to beat Swede Elias Ymer 6-1, 4-6, 7-6 (10-7) triumphing with his eight match point.
Peniston, who is 197 in the world, will now take on Tunisian Aziz Dougaz who is currently ranked 230.
Players must win three matches in qualifying to make it into the first round of the main draw.
