SOUTHEND United striker Danny Waldron will head into tomorrow’s match with York City boosted by his first full week of training with Blues.
Waldon had previously combined honing his football skills at Boots & Laces with having to work his notice in his former job in finance.
But Waldon is now free to focus on the Shrimpers, something boss Kevin Maher believes will prove key.
“This is his first full week with us which is important,” said Maher.
“He's been out with the rest of the team learning how we play and what's asked of him.
“There's no pressure from our point of view but it's nice to have him fully integrated.”
Waldron has made two appearances off the bench for Blues since signing from Rushall Olympic but has yet to start.
