SOUTHEND United fans have their say on Saturday's 0-0 draw at Oxford City.
Very frustrating. Don't know why we can't score of late. Had enough chances, need to be ruthless. A sad reality is that the facilities today may become more familiar if we don't start scoring & get the wins. Kev & Co have done wonders & don't deserve to to go down. We go again.
@robertaskew7
Not good enough again! We need to roll the dice and bring in reinforcements that will score goals and create opportunities. The consortium should be asking Kev what his team needs and act fast before we find ourselves in the NLS.
@TweetGraystone
The management team and players have performed wonders and deserve huge credit to have kept us afloat this season. But something needs to change as we are in a relegation battle and nothing from today made me think we are definitely going to get clear. There is zero goal threat.
@Moorhouse79
Six hours and five minutes without a goal in open play shows where the problem is. Play nice possession football without creating enough cutting-edge chances. Fans must stick together and become that 12 man again.
@TerryEd123
Dire facilities which meant most people couldn't see. This created terrible atmosphere not helped by football. We just need a fluky goal to get things going again.
@EdBeavan
Pass, pass, pass, pass, final third, pass pass pass. We really lack creativity, and something needs to change. The table doesn't lie! If we can't get one against this Oxford side, we are very much in trouble.
@SenseiPhil2
We all know the issue, not finishing the chances - but another decent performance until the final third. It was always going to be a period of consolidation after the sale so just need enough points to get into mid table and then see what next season brings.
@AndrewHackling
Let’s be honest ! We’re in trouble. Since we best Chesterfield in mid November we’ve won just three of our last 11 league games and have not scored in our last four! So whatever we’re doing now needs to change as if we keep doing the same things we ‘ll probably get the same results!
@tommyharris57
We were the better side, as we should have been and dominated. Lots of in box activity, particularly second half, and desperate defending by OC. On another day some of those ricochets and scrambles would have gone in. But we need them to very , very soon.
@RutlandShrimper
We are going through a difficult time. Something is not quite clicking but we must support the manager support the team. Remember we are lucky we’ve even got a football club so stick together and we will overcome this.
@RLedicott
Another frustrating afternoon. Our delivery from set pieces had been awful for a while now. Not scored since 13 Jan so the goal of the month for February is really shaping up to be a classic competition.
@johnfrench52
Incredibly disappointing BUT it is not as bad as some are making out. We’d have beaten them on a grass pitch. We need a goal from somewhere on Tuesday. No ones too good to go down but I have faith better days are coming soon. Good to see Justin in the stands.
