SOUTHEND United boss Kevin Maher is enjoying being able to rotate his frontline.
Maher has alternated between Danny Waldron and Marcus Dackers alongside Harry Cardwell in the past three games.
And Maher is doing all he can to keep his forwards on top of their game.
“It’s keeping them all fresh,” said Maher.
“Cards got his goals, Danny got his and Marcus got his too.
“Sandy (Henry Sandat) probably hasn’t got as many minutes as them recently but he had chances at Oxford.
“It’s important to be able to freshen up and have them all ready and willing.
“If someone wants to go and score every week then that’s brilliant but we’ve got the option to rotate it at the right time now.
“It’s something we haven’t had and it’s important we realise that the players here at the start of the season couldn’t be changed or rotated.
“They had to play every minute of every game.”
