WEALDSTONE boss David Noble was disappointed his side could not hang on for all three points at Southend United.
Sean Adarkwa fired Stones into an early lead at Roots Hall before a late leveller from Henry Sandat meant the game ended all square.
And Noble was frustrated to not take all three points.
“If you had asked me before the game I would have taken a point but the way it panned out it’s always a difficult one when you concede late,” Noble told the club’s YouTube channel.
“It’s disappointing in the end but it was a really good performance.
“The grit and determination from the boys is really good to see and there’s bundles of it from all of them.
“But we had some golden opportunities to put the game to bed, we just lacked that last bit of quality.
“Some of the chances we created was really good to see, we were just without that last bit.”
