GREAT Wakering Rovers star Harry Talbot will head into this weekend's FA Vase quarter-final on a high after being voted the Echo's player of the month for February.
Talbot received 75 per cent of the 2,026 votes made.
And Wakering boss Marcus Bowers, whose side host Falmouth Town tomorrow, is pleased Talbot's form has been recognised.
“Firstly congratulations to Harry,” said Bowers.
“He had a bit of a quiet period just after Christmas but the last month he has been of the Harry we want.
“He’s a great player but most importantly he is a really top lad.
“He’s a massive character around the squad and if he is playing well he’s a massive asset to us.
“He has more than 30 goal contributions this season which is an incredible stat.
“I really enjoy working with Harry and there is still a lot more to come from him.”
Concord Rangers striker Harrison Day took second in the award with White Ensign defender Nathan Wilson third.
