SOUTHEND United fans have their say on Saturday's 1-1 draw with Dagenham & Redbridge at Roots Hall.

First half all Daggers, we were lucky it was only the one. Second half all us, we were unlucky it was only the one. Decent game, and I am sure the watching millions were suitably entertained!

Very good second half where we could have even nicked it, but the first half was so bad Dagenham should have been out of sight. This needs to be fixed as three home games in a fortnight very lucky to only be one down at the break. Sandat deserves a start on Tuesday.

An absolute game of two halves. Not even in it during first half and Collin has saved us. The second half was so much better and could/should have been all three points in the end.

Groundhog Day - concede early and poor first half again. Would like to see Bridge on the right so he doesn’t need to cut back to get the ball in the box. Cardwell showed how it’s done with good strength and an early ball before the defenders can get set - results in a goal.

Definition of a game of two halves. First half Collin kept us in it single handed. Second half much much better. We can keep giving teams a 45 minute head start.

Could have been 3-0 down at half time. Could have won it 3-1. First half they targeted JD who struggled for pace at the back but loooked better going forwards. We are still shot-shy. Need to play more to strikers feet. Miley fortunate not to get walked. Sandat lively.

Frankly our first half performance was dreadful & but for Ndi playing a blinder, we would have been 3-0 down. Perfect start to the second half and we were a different team after that! Need to start playing for 90 mins not 45 though to avoid us dropping back towards the drop zone
