SOUTHEND United boss Kevin Maher was pleased with Deon Woodman’s full debut for the Shrimpers.
Woodman replaced Jason Demetriou on the right hand side of the back three for Tuesday night’s 2-0 win against Dorking Wanderers.
And Maher was impressed by how the on loan Queens Park Rangers centre-back performed.
“He did really well,” said Maher.
“He’s comfortable, he’s a good size obviously and he can run as you saw when he opened up into the space.
“I was pleased with him.”
