SOUTHEND United Kevin Maher admitted to worrying Gus Scott-Morriss could have been sent off at Solihull Moors.
Referee Greg Rollason opted to wave play when the Shrimpers wing-back pulled the shirt of Tahvon Campbell looked clean through on goal in the opening exchanges.
And when asked if he was worried about the possibility of a red card, Maher said: “I was a little bit.
“The ball was getting away from the player that was probably the thing.
“But it looked like he could’ve been.”
Blues went on to win the game 3-0.
