SOUTHEND United fans have their say on this afternoon's 1-1 draw at Ebbsfleet United.
Twelve unbeaten, though if we can turn at lot of these draws into wins next season, we'll be a real force in this league. Fair result today.

Shrimpers please stop moaning. Players have put in such a shift this year. Add back those 10 points and look where we’d be. They’re dead on their feet but still performing. With a pre-season, and a bit more strengthening, we’ll be up there next year. In Kevin Maher we trust.

After a long week and to then have to play against the current form team in the league, this was a decent result. The players were tired compared to Ebbsfleet who hadn’t played for over a week but still didn’t get beaten! So 12 games undefeated is to be admired not criticised!

Sorry but we’re not going down and the fact we now have a full squad reduces the tiredness excuse. Bringing Demetriou on for Bridge showed we’re more scared of losing than bringing Waldron on and going for the win. Really do lack a plan b. Really fed up with the tiredness excuse.

It was OK, we looked tired. Could have won it, could have lost it. Draw totally fair. Nice to feel some warming sunshine on my baldy head.
@JimboCambo
Lost any sort of attacking threat when Cardwell went off. Also play Wood, not Sandat.
@TomRoss_
Tepid. Second balls not being won as has been the issue all season long. I can imagine the lads want to pack it in now and go again next season. Let’s hope they do.
@JamieWSF
Looked second best for a lot of that game and tired in the second half no doubt due to playing Tuesday whilst our hosts didn’t. Still we had four good chances second half including the defender’s sliced clearance towards his own goal!
@GSeawert
Shame we couldn’t find the win as the teams above us dropped points to just about keep the season alive. 2nd half we looked very tired mentally and physically with misplaced passes and possession given away cheaply. Next season we need to turn some of the draws into wins.
@AndrewHackling
Funny game. Felt we took lead against run of play, then had some good spells. Cardwell does better with effort in second half and we win, but then taken off and we seemed to lose shape and interest. Against a form team, ultimately happy with a point, but season ebbing away now.
@sjapresley
Not great, happy with the draw as Ebbsfleet were the better side. Cardwell scored a brilliant header and should have added a second but in the end we dug in and got a draw. Not sure why Kev didn’t use Waldron as surely he needs a run. Time to use the squad, they looked tired today.
@shrimperjon
Twelve unbeaten is a massive achievement. It’s only a matter of time when these draws are turned into wins.
@paulswansonhill
It wasn’t pretty but the lads are exhausted and cannot be blamed. I thought Ebbsfleet were decent.
