WHITE Ensign dug deep to secure a 1-0 win at Hullbridge Sports.
Ethan Evison bagged the only goal of the Essex Senior League clash.
And Ensign skipper Nathan Wilson was delighted to make it back to back wins.
“I thought tactically we got it spot on and they struggled to deal with our diamond in midfield,” said Wilson.
“They had their spells in the second half and forced us back but I thought we defended our box well enough to see the game out.
“We could’ve and probably should’ve scored a couple more.
“But everyone worked so hard for each other and hopefully we can continue our momentum and finish the season strongly.”
Ensign are now 14th in the table while Hullbridge have slipped to ninth.
