DAVID Martin is set to join Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town from Southend United.
The 38-year-old goalkeeper shone in a player coach role with the Shrimpers last season.
But he now looks likely to move on after his contract expired at Roots Hall.
Martin made 10 appearances for Blues last term and worked well with the club's current number one goalkeeper Collin Andeng Ndi.
However, the former West Ham United shot-stopper now appears to be Suffolk bound where he will again be given a coaching role.
