WHITE Ensign striker Ellis Devereux will head into tomorrow’s FA Cup extra preliminary round clash at Potton United boosted by a midweek hat-trick.
The 18-year-old scored three goals in Ensign’ s 4-2 win at Frenford on Tuesday night.
And the youngster was delighted to make his first senior start one to remember.

“It was very pleasing and I thought the boys were really good on the night,” said Devereux.
“We were deservedly the winners and I was buzzing to get the hat-trick.
“It was actually my first start in senior football so they were my first goals.”
Devereux has dual signed with Ensign from Hashtag United this season.
And he already feels right at home with Aaron Bloxham’s side.
“I’ve settled in really well,” said Devereux.
“The boys and the people around the club have been really welcoming.
“Playing here will give me vital experience of competitive senior football and help me learn and develop as a player.”
“My personal hopes for the year are to prove I can play and contribute regularly at the level and, if I can do that, I hope it will help Ensign have a successful season.”
Elsewhere tomorrow, Basildon United host Hadley, Benfleet entertain Woodford Town and Great Wakering Rovers are at home to Redbridge.
