JASON Demetriou’s future at Southend United is yet to be resolved.
The 36-year-old seems unlikely to play again for the Shrimpers.
But Blues boss Kevin Maher is keen to club Demetriou at the club and revealed he was out scouting at the weekend.
“Jay was out watching a game for us at the weekend and did a report,” said Maher.
“It’s still ongoing but we’d like to sit down and work out what it looks like for Jay one way or another.”
Demetriou joined Blues in 2016 and has made 260 appearances for the club.
