SOUTHEND United have completed a move for midfielder Keenan Appiah-Forson.
The 22-year-old scored once in 27 games while on loan at Dagenham & Redbridge last season.
And Appiah-Forson, who came through the ranks at West Ham United, has now signed a two year deal with the Shrimpers.
“I’m very happy to be here and I’m ready to just go for it," said Appiah-Forson.
"I trained yesterday and today and I’ve really enjoyed seeing how the team works and how we play.
"I’m really excited."
Appiah-Forson will go straight into the squad for Saturday's match at AFC Fylde and is keen to contribute at both ends of the pitch.
“I’m more of a box-to-box midfielder," said Appiah-Forson.
"I can do both attacking and defending jobs so I’ll be up and down the pitch.”
