SOUTHEND United boss Kevin Maher is looking forward to welcoming Steve Arnold back to Roots Hall this weekend.
The experienced shot-stopper looks set to start for Sutton United against the Shrimpers tomorrow.
And Maher will be pleased to catch up with the custodian once again.
"What a brilliant character he is," said Maher.
"He did brilliantly here for me when he was playing but he went back into the league.
"I'm sure Steve will get a warm welcome from everyone at the football club.
"What a good pro he is and what a brilliant person too."
