ECHOSPORT talks to Solihull Moors fans Joshua King ahead of Saturday's game with Southend United.

Solihull are eighth in the table. What have you made of the season so far?

"Our start's been hit and miss.

"A mix of a new group and a lot of injuries have slowed us down however we've still managed to dominate teams a lot of the time."

The away form seems to be better than the home so far. Is that anything to worry about or too early at this stage?

"Our away form has always been better under Andy Whing, for example last year we were top of the away table.

"The poor home results and Southend being our bogey team doesn't make me 100 per cent confident."

Has the team changed much since last season?

"I can only say that the team has strengthened, additions of the likes of Tunnicliffe, Bostock and Wilkinson seems to add some real quality we lacked at times last year.

"It's fair to say we seem a lot more professional now with the added experience."

What are the hopes this season?

"The hope was to be pushing for top three.

"The league's open this year and not getting play-offs with this squad would be considered a failure."

Who is the dangerman?

"Easily between Ozzy (Jamey Osborne) and Wilkinson.

"Ozzy has the class to dictate games as most fans will know whilst Wilkinson has three goals in two games and has really stepped up whilst we have this attacking injury crisis."

What's the team news?

"We are missing possibly our strongest attack in Campbell, Stevens and Gale.

"Adding to that Matty Warburton might also be unavailable.

"But our defence and midfield looks to be at close to full strength with a few players still looking to gel."
