WESTCLIFF moved top of the Regional Two Anglia table after beating Rochford Hundred 76-7 in a local derby at Magnolia Road.
The defeat leaves Rochford ninth in the 11 team table.
In Regional One South East, Southend Saxons suffered their first defeat since the opening day of last season as they lost 54-17 at home to Sudbury.
In Counties One Essex, Basildon lost 31-25 at Burnham on Crouch while in Counties Two Essex, Billericay beat South Woodham Ferrers 55-12 and Canvey Island lost 31-13 at Stanford le Hope.
