WESTCLIFF face a top of the table clash with Brentwood tomorrow.
The two unbeaten teams go head to head at the Gables.
And Greg Bannister, who is starting at centre, cannot wait for the Regional Two Anglia contest.
“They are also unbeaten so it will be a test,” said Bannister.
“We back ourselves against anyone in this league but also aware that anyone can beat anyone so we have to be well and truly on it.”
Westcliff top the table 26 points from their first six matches of the season while Brentwood are three points behind with a game in hand.
And Bannister is enjoying being at the right end of the table after suffering relegation in the past two seasons.
“We’ve had a couple of tough years but hopefully they are behind us now so we can keep moving forward,” said Bannister.
“We had a good pre-season and thankfully it’s rolled into the season.
“It’s still early in the season but we are happy with where we are at.”
