SOUTHEND United boss Kevin Maher faces a selection headache between the sticks for Saturday's clash with Yeovil Town.

Maher must chose between Zach Jeacock, who was unavailable for Saturday’s FA Cup tie with Charlton Athletic, and Collin Andeng Ndi.

But Maher insists it is a dilemma he welcomes.

“They’re the ones you want and we haven’t had that for long enough this season,” said Maher.

“Training will dictate what we do and who will be right for that opposition.

“That’s right across the board as well, not just the keepers but it’s a good headache to have.”

Maher looks set to start with the same back three and wing-backs.

And centre-back Joe Gubbins again looks likely to miss out with an Achilles problem.

“He hasn’t been able to train this week yet and it’s one we have to be careful with,” said Maher.

“We’re going day by day seeing how it is and how much we can push it.”

However, Maher is facing further dilemmas in the centre of the park and must decide on whether or not to recall the fit-again Cav Miley who has come off the bench in the last two games.

Asked if Miley was fit enough to start, Maher said: “Cav came on and got 65 minutes plus I believe in the end on Saturday so that will stand him in good stead.

“He’s trained ever so well this week, like they all have.

“Tuesday’s session really was top drawer from everyone.

“He’s someone that might have played in midweek (against Hashtag) but because it was 4G he didn’t.

“He had a really good training session instead and he’s pushing.

“I’d have no qualms about starting him if needed.”

Josh Walker is also pushing for a recall.
