FOREST Green Rovers boss Steve Cotterill feels his side's draw at Southend United could end up being a good point.
Rovers twice led before having to settle for a share of the spoils at Roots Hall.
But Cotterill was not too unhappy with a point.
"It could end up being a good point for us," Cotterill told the club's YouTube channel.
"It's an awkward game, there's nearly 7, 000 here and they cheer their team on.
"They got right behind them and it made it a difficult game.
"Stick the weather on top of that as well and it was one of those games.
"We could easily have won it but towards the end when you're thinking about how it is out there it makes it difficult.
"We just didn't want to be one of those surprise results today and get beaten."
However, Cotterill did admit Rovers had enough chances to have won.
"Anyone coming here today would have had a difficult game but I just think in the first half we had quite a few good opportunities before it became a bit of a 50/50 game in the second half," said Cotterill.
"I haven't got any complaints with the boys, they're all in and on another day we could easily have won what was a difficult game."
