ECHOSPORT talks to Woking fan Harry Duke ahead of tonight's match with Southend United.
Woking are currently 18th in the table. What have you made of the season so far?
"We came into the season not expecting to be near the play-offs but to also be well clear of a relegation battle, sort of a rebuilding year.
"But we are massively underachieving with just five wins, and only 1 away against rock bottom Ebbsfleet.
"Things are beginning to turn toxic, with the majority of fans wanting manager Michael Doyle out, and are starting to boo the players.
"It's a very disappointing start for sure."
Why do you feel the season hasn't gone too well so far?
"There's a number of reasons things haven't gone well.
"The manager's tactics don't exactly seem great.
"We always pass sideways or backwards, or just hoof it upfield.
"We didn't have a shot on target all game at Barnet on Saturday, and despite having five strikers, we haven't had one score since mid September.
"Constant changes in the team this season also hasn't helped, as well as far too late substitutions.
"There's added pressure of off-field issues, as we're currently in the process of changing owners, which should apparently be finalised next Monday, but who knows."
How do you see the rest of the season going and what do you feel can be achieved?
"As it stands, in all honesty I don't see us anywhere but in the bottom four with Doyle.
"Horrid form, awful tactics, and the fans starting to turn is a combination sending us on a downwards spiral straight to the NLS.
"We need a change of manager to have any hope of achieving anything, and hopefully when the new owners come in, that's one of the first things they do."
Who is the dangerman?
"It's hard to say to be honest.
"It's hard to even predict who Doyle will play, and over the course of the season, we haven't really had a stand out player.
"But if I had to pick someone, it would be Matt Ward, if he even plays.
"He's a quick young winger who loves to get forward and press, but also drop back when needed, and just never stops running, always giving per cent.
"He's great at dribbling too, not afraid to take anyone on and more often than not beats his man."
What's the team news?
"Again, it's tough to know what we will do because it seems to change every week.
"But as far as availability, the only big players we're missing are Dan Moss and Harry Beautyman, the former of which is a huge player for us, who we will miss for a while until he's back."
