HALIFAX Town boss Chris Millington is backing Southend United's momentum to build throughout the season.
The Shrimpers triumphed 2-0 against Millington's side at the Shay on Saturday.

And the Halifax admitted Blues were worthy winners.
"We didn't present enough of a challenge to Southend," Millington told the club's YouTube channel.
"They were good and I know their momentum will grow over the course of the season because I rate the manager and his staff.
"They're very good and they will get better the longer the season goes on.
"But I didn't think we did enough to pose them enough problems and they won it playing within themselves to a degree because we weren't good enough.
And Millington was unable to explain Halifax's below par performance.
"I'm very disappointed," said Millington.
"We didn't get going and it's a real disappointment after the work the lads have put in in the last few weeks.
"We really worked hard to earn positive results and that was lacking today.
"I couldn't put my finger on it during the game.
"Whether it was anxiety, sloppiness or a hangover from Wednesday night and travelling back from Forest Green I don't know but we didn't get going."
Halifax are now 10th in the table.
