GRAYS slumped to a 2-1 defeat to Stevenage Borough at the New Rec this evening.
A flurry of goals early in the second half was initiated by Stevenage winger Mitchell Cole, who returned to haunt his former club by opening the scoring in the 48th minute.
Jamie Stuart levelled for the hosts on the 49th minute when he latched onto the loose ball after Mark Albrighton had blocked Grays substitute Barry Cogan's header. But ex Southend man Cole put Borough back in front on 53 minutes.
