DORIAN Dervite will return to the Shrimpers starting line-up at Huddersfield Town tomorrow.
The centre-back missed last Friday’s 3-2 triumph over Hartlepool United because he was in action for France under 21s.
But Blues boss Steve Tilson does not believes his side’s shaky display against the Monkeyhangers was caused by Dervite’s absence.
“I don’t think you can say it happened because Dorian wasn’t playing,” said Tilson, 42.
“We just got a bit complacent and sloppy and that’s why the game ended up the way it did and we were hanging on towards the end a little bit.”
Despite those views however, Tilson is delighted to be able to welcome back the on loan Tottenham Hotspur defender who is expected to replace Osei Sankofa in the side.
“It’s obviously good news for us,” said Tilson.
“I went to watch Dorian against England in the week and he did ever so well so it’s great to have him back available again.”
