FORMER Southend United and West Ham winger Lee Hodges, whose caretaker managership with Grant Gordon saved Billericay Town being dragged into the relegation dogfight, has been released.
During the duo’s seven games in charge, the New Lodge club picked up 12 points from a possible 21.
Ex Heybridge Swifts boss Brian Statham took over the manager’s role last week and also released are long-serving midfielder Leon Hunter, central defenders Lynval Duncan and Tim Cole and first team goalkeeper Tony Tucker.
