Damian Scannell - has swine flu
SOUTHEND United winger Damian Scannell has contracted swine flu.
The 24-year-old has been told to rest and remain at home to prevent the disease spreading in the squad.
Scannell will also be out for six weeks with the ankle injury he suffered during Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Dagenham and Redbridge.
