Randy George - top scored with 21 points for Pirates
ESSEX Pirates were beaten 90-78 at home to Glasgow Rocks tonight.
Pirates were 17-12 in front at the end of the first quarter and 39-34 at half-time.
But Rocks hit back during the third quarter to go 62-55 in front before they went on to extend their advantage to 12 points.
Randy George again top scored for the Pirates with 21 points while Dean Williams added 12 and Taner Adu and Alan Metcalfe both got 11.
