BLUES supporters can relocate to the North Bank for the forthcoming home games against Yeovil Town and Stockport County.
Fans are being given the opportunity to sit in half of the away end at Roots Hall for two matches that are expected to have small away followings.
Yeovil visit Roots Hall on Saturday, April 3, and Stockport come to Essex on May 1, in what is the final home game of the season.
Anyone who has already purchased a ticket in a different area of the ground for either match, or is a season card holder, can contact the Blues ticket office, who can relocate to the North Bank for no additional charge.
The North Bank of Roots Hall was traditionally the home supporters’ end of the stadium until the redevelopment of the South Stand in the 90’s.
A campaign to let Blues fans return to their much-loved old home failed a few years ago.
The club cited crowd segregation reasons as the over-riding factor, as it was easier to get fans into and out of the North Stand than in any other part of the ground.
