RYAN Hall will face a late fitness test before tonight’s FA Cup replay with Macclesfield Town.
The left-winger missed out on Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Accrington Stanley with a dead leg.
But he is fighting to be fit to take on the Silkmen.
“Ryan failed a fitness test for Saturday’s game and will have another one this evening,” confirmed Blues boss Paul Sturrock.
“We will give him as long as we can before making a decision and we will have to see how it gets on.”
Centre-back Chris Barker is definitely out with a calf problem but he could be back for Saturday’s trip to Shrewsbury Town.
Fellow defender Mark Phillips (groin) is also absent and Sturrock is expecting another tough test against the Silkmen.
“They have been doing well and are hard to play against us,” said the Scotsman.
“We need to keep our shape and then take the chances which come our way.”
The match must be settled tonight and will head in to extra time and then penalties if the score remains level.
