ELLIE Pirrie won silver in the 200m butterfly for Runnymede Swimming Club at the Eastern Region Championships in Norwich.
The 14-year-old, a member of the club in Kiln Road, Thundersely, also picked up a bronze in the 100m butterfly.
Chloe Davis, 17, claimed a bronze in the 400m individual medley.
Melissa Knighton secured a number of personal best times, and made the final of the 50m backstroke where she finished fifth.
Matt Winnell took silver medal in the 400m individual medley event.
And his younger younger brother James made the final of the 50m butterfly, finishing in seventh place.
George Knight, 14, achieved a new personal best time in the 50m butterfly.
Elliot Hart, swimming in his first ever regional event, made the final of the 14-year-old boys’ 200m breaststroke.
And he finished in an impressive sixth place.
He also set a new PB in the 400m individual medley.
Eva Power, 13, was hampered by a shoulder injury but still managed to compete in the 200m individual medley, 100m freestyle and 200m freestyle, finishing just outside her personal best times in all races.
Madeline Knighton swam in the 11-year-old girls’ 100 and 200m backstroke events, and set a new PB time in the shorter event.
Sarah Ellis, qualified late for the championships, competed in the 200m backstroke.
The club, based in Kiln Road, Thundersley, is looking to strengthen its squads at all levels and is holding trials at the pool from 6.30pm on the first Friday of every month.
