JAMES Ogilvie enjoyed a great few hours sunshine and fishing on the north bank where he landed his new personal best – a superb 24lb common taken on floaters in a margin swim.
The same day Charlie Ridpath banked a very fine 21lb mirror from the margins on the long arm on floaters.
And Christopher Whitaker landed a 17lb mirror on the road bank.
Peter Willis landed a few nice tench and a mid-double common from the south bank.
And Alan Munday found sport on the point on the south bank with four tench and a mid-double mirror.
The bream have remained consistent all week, as have the roach, but the tench did a disappearing act with only a few anglers finding fish, and mostly in the margin swims.
