Billericay were knocked out of this year’s Trophy after going down to a first-half strike at Maidenhead.
The hosts took a 24th-minute lead courtesy of a fine individual effort from Reece Tison-Lascaris, and they never surrendered that advantage at York Road.
The striker received the ball from Ashan Holgate and drove towards the box before fizzing a low drive into the corner from 20 yards.
Billericay pressed forward in search of an equaliser after the break.
And former Maidenhead defender Chris Wild almost levelled on a couple of occasions, most notably with a late header which produced a flying save from the impressive Billy Lumley.
But it was winger Harrison Chatting who went the closest for Town, crashing an effort against the post 12 minutes from time.
Billericay: Brightly, Berry, Collis, Kpaka (Luke 69), Swaine, Wild, Chatting, Edwards, May, Onwubiko (Akinola 76), Halle.
