BLUES boss Paul Sturrock has made four changes to his starting line-up for tonight's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Swindon Town.
Anthony Grant has replaced Jean-Paul Kalala in midfield with Neil Harris and Blair Sturrock both being recalled in attack.
As a result, Liam Dickinson has dropped to the bench with Michael Timlin also missing out through suspension.
Mark Phillips is also banned and that has led to Luke Prosser coming back in to the team.
But Prosser is expected to line up on the left hand side of midfield with Bilel Mohsni reverting to centre-back.
Southend United: Daniels, Clohessy, Mohsni, Barker, Gilbert, Hall, Grant, Ferdinand, Prosser, Harris, Sturrock
Subs: Morris, Coughlan, Sawyer, Kalala & Dickinson.
