LEADERS Billericay continued their winning streak with a 40-14 win over Bancroft.
But for once Billericay did not have it their own way as the visitors raced in to a 14-0 lead with two converted tries.
Billericay hit back midway through the first half with a well worked try from Lee Barry and Dan Kell added the extras.
The in-form Kell then kicked two penalties to put his side within a point of Bancroft.
Bancroft were then reduced to 14 men on the stroke of half-time when their outside centre was sent to the sin bin.
This seemed to spur Billericay on as they produced a clinical second half performance which led to them scoring three further tries from Young, Hyett and skipper Mugford.
Kell continued his fine form with the boot and, in total, Billericay added 27 unanswered points in the second period.
They now sit five points clear of second placed Old Brentwoods who they play in their next game a week on Saturday.
