IT’S a big game tomorrow as it’s first against third when we go to Cheltenham Town.

But it’s still only three points that’s going to be at stake and we don’t want to put too much pressure on ourselves.

However, if we could go there and win then it really would send out a message to the rest of the teams in the league and show that we’re not going to lay down and die.

Cheltenham have been on a fantastic run of form but so were Port Vale, Rotherham and Macclesfield when we went to their grounds and got three points so hopefully we can do it again this weekend.

It will be very hard to do that though as Cheltenham is a very tough place to go and they have some excellent players.

The lad Mohamed is doing well for them this season and he’s a player I know well having signed him when I was manager of Swindon.

Goulding and Spencer will also be dangerous for them and they’re a hard working side.

I’m sure it will be a bit rough and tumble and I have to decide what line up will give us the best chance to win the game.

Do I then make changes to freshen things up for the Oldham cup replay or do I stick with the same side?

I have some hard and tough decisions to make, especially as we’re playing three times in the space of seven days which will be very difficult.

All the games are important and I’m fully aware that everyone is getting very excited about how we might be playing Liverpool in the next round of the FA Cup.

But for us to get to Anfield we have to win a very difficult replay away at a team from a higher league than ourselves so we can’t afford to be thinking too far ahead.

In fact, all we can think about at this stage is tomorrow’s game and trying to get back to winning ways.

We haven’t won in our last three outings which is frustrating and it was disappointing to lose to Swindon in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy on Tuesday.

It brought our 17 match unbeaten run to an end and I thought we paid the price for dropping a couple of gears after we went 1-0 up.

The stats from the game showed how close it actually was but Swindon are a very good side and they will definitely be up there this season.

We more than matched them, which was encouraging, but now it’s a case of making sure we react well to the defeat when we go to Cheltenham for another very hard game.
