IT certainly hasn't been the best of weeks for the football club.
But it is important to remember that little more than a week ago we were all enjoying being 17 matches unbeaten and equalling a club record.
The last of those two games were draws and were seen as being positive because they extended our run without a defeat.
However, those same draws are now being seen as a negative as they're being counted against us to make it five games without a win.
We're disappointed about that and the cup defeats but my views on that are being printed elsewhere in the paper and it really is time to look forward not back.
Myself and my players will now only be talking about the matches we have coming up and the first of those sees us taking on Bradford City tonight.
I'm very surprised to see them so low down the table right now because they have some very good players at their football club.
The boy Fagan has played in the Premier League and so has Davies who they have on loan from Stoke. They also have Ravenhill who has been a Championship regular along with Reid and Hanson up top is an exciting striker so when you go through it like that you can tell we're up against a very dangerous team.
I really do feel they will start to climb up the league at some point but we obviously hope that doesn't start to happen just yet.
We need to get ourselves back on track again because promotion has always been our number one target this season.
For that to happen though we have to get back to winning ways and get through this little sticky patch we're on.
But saying that we've lost one game in the league since September and full credit to Cheltenham for their performance last weekend which saw us suffer that reverse.
They looked a very exciting side and one who I definitely now expect to be right up there at the end of the season.
For us it was a disappointing day and we had about seven or eight of our players off form.
When that happens you're going to lose games and that was certainly the case at Cheltenham.
The signs early on against Oldham were good though and showed we were making a good response from that defeat.
But that's gone and in the past now.
We can't change anything about any of it and like I'm very keen to stress it's all about the league now and trying to win promotion.
