Paul Sturrock - set to sign Jack Sampson on loan
SOUTHEND United are set to sign Bolton Wanderers striker Jack Sampson on loan.
The 18-year-old, who has just extended his contract with the Premier League side until 2013, is expected to put pen to paper at Roots Hall in the next couple of days.
And he will go straight in to the Blues squad for Saturday’s game at Northampton Town.
Sampson has been with Bolton since the age of 13 and last September he was called up in to England’s under 19 squad for their friendly against Holland.
