WE are about to play another three games in the space of seven days and they are all against top opposition.

Cheltenham tomorrow will represent a real test because they're a very good team who are tough to play against.

They came close to getting promoted last season after making the play-offs and Whaddon Road is always a difficult place to go.

We found that out last season when we got a bit of a drubbing and if we play like that again then we will get another one because that wasn't a very good performance from us at all.

After that, we go to the early league leaders Gillingham who I think are a vastly improved team this season and the following weekend we face Exeter City, who are also flying and are currently second in the table.

They won 4-2 at Oxford last week which takes some doing so we're certainly going to be in for a testing week because I think all of the sides are going to right up there all season.

But this is a challenge we're looking forward to because we've won our last three matches and are unbeaten in four.

There is a good spirit about the team and we want to keep this run going to carry on moving up the table.

Injuries aren't helping that cause though and we will be missing a few players again this weekend.

The match has come too early for Freddy Eastwood, who has also had an illness this week to go with his calf problem and, although Barry Corr has stepped things up in the last few days, he isn't ready to return yet either.

Luke Prosser has torn his calf and will be out for a couple of weeks and Ryan Leonard also looks like missing the match at Cheltenham with the hamstring injury he has.

On top of that, David Martin is also a doubt and will have a late fitness test but we remain up for the challenge of picking up more points.

This weekend's game will also be the last one before Cameron Belford heads back to Bury.

I had a chat with him about the situation and we both decided he needs to be playing football so he will return to Bury when his loan expires.

Ideally I would like to have two senior keepers challenging for the position but we have a budget to think about and Daniel Bentley also showed signs of promise during pre-season so I'm sure he won't let us down if and when he's called upon.
